About Us

A Culture of Compassion and Collaboration

Serenity Smiles has been apart of the Miramar Beach community for years. Our office was formerly known as Seacrest Dental. Dr. Raj Patel and Dr. Yassar Patel joined Serenity Smiles with a commitment to cultivating a professional, collaborative, and compassionate environment to treat patients of all ages. Our team works cohesively with mutual respect and shared purpose, recognizing that effective teamwork enhances both patient care and workplace satisfaction. Compassion is a guiding principle in our interactions – with one another and with every patient who walks through our doors. We strive to provide exceptional care through genuine empathy, active listening, and a strong desire to improve the oral health and overall well-being of those we serve.

Honest communication

We believe that trust starts with honesty. We are committed to open, transparent communication with every patient – explaining your treatment options thoroughly, and making sure you feel fully informed and comfortable at every step. We’ll never rush you into decisions, instead, we take the time to listen, understand your concerns, and work with you to create a personalized plan that aligns with your health, goals, and budget. Your trust means everything to us, and we’re here to support you with honesty, integrity, and respect – every visit, every time.

Modern Imaging Technology for Safer, Smarter Dental Care:

At our practice, we use advanced imaging technology like CBCT (Cone Beam CT) and digital dental X-rays to provide you with the safest, most accurate care possible.
CBCT is a specialized 3D imaging system that allows us to see your teeth, jawbone, nerves, and sinuses in incredible detail. This technology is especially helpful for procedures like dental implants, root canals, and evaluating bone structure. It helps us plan treatments more precisely and avoid unnecessary complications – leading to better results and faster healing.
Digital x-rays are a modern alternative to traditional film x-rays. They use significantly less radiation, produce images instantly, and allow us to zoom in and show you exactly what we are seeing. This makes it easier for you to understand your oral health and for us to catch issues early and before they cause any discomfort.

Digital Scanning: A Modern, Comfortable Way to Restore Your Smile

At our office, we use digital scanning technology to help with fabrication of crowns, implant crowns, and bridges with greater precision, comfort, and efficiency than ever before.
Instead of traditional impressions – which can be messy, uncomfortable, and time consuming – we use a small, handheld digital scanner to take a quick and highly accurate 3D image of your teeth. This scan is used to design your custom restoration with incredible detail and precision.
Whether you’re receiving a crown to repair a damaged tooth, an implant crown to restore a missing tooth, or a bridge to fill a gap, digital scanning allows us to:

  • Ensure a perfect fit for comfort and function
  • Eliminate the need for messy impression materials
  • Improve accuracy leading to long-lasting and natural-looking results

By using these advanced tools, we ensure your treatment is more comfortable, efficient, and tailored to your unique needs. Custom Night Guards Made In-House for Your Convenience

We’re proud to offer custom-made night guards right here in-house, eliminating the need to for outside labs and longer wait times.
If you suffer from teeth grinding (bruxism), jaw clenching, or TMJ discomfort, a night guard can protect your teeth and help you sleep more comfortably. Because we create them in our own office, we can ensure:

  • A faster turnaround time – no need to wait several weeks for a lab
  • Precise, personalized fit – tailored specially to your bite
  • High-quality materials
  • On-site adjustments

By keeping the process in-house, we maintain full control over the quality, comfort, and efficiency of your care. It’s just one more way we combine modern technology and personalized service to give you the best possible dental experience.
